Homework Expectations Letter
With the new standards and Engage NY/Eureka Math curriculum I have had many concerned/angry parent emails. Math teachers get all the complaints! This Expectations letter helps parents and students understand their role when doing homework. It also has a whole page of online resources that I use with my families. I left it as a publisher file to be fully editable.

Modified Science Curriculum: Physics Elapsed Time for Special Ed

Newton's Laws Infographic Template
To solidify Newton's three laws of motion, we created infographics (posters) to explain and the laws and show examples. This resource is a template that I provided to give their posters structure. Students had to include the basic definition of each law, a title (ex:"Newton's 1st Law") and a picture example. I Have Who Has is a vocabulary review game. Print these cards front and back and distribute to students.One side of each card says "I have" and then a key term. The other side says "Who has" and then a definition. I found some partners cards one day when I was searching for ideas and loved them so much I made some of my own. These are Australian Based as we have rugby with an Australian rugby player, australian basketballers, meat pies with sauce, fish and chips. I love using these in class and the children love them too
