It is based on the idea that students need lots of explicit teaching first, they need to view several versions of the text and then they are supported and scaffolded to write their own text type more independently. Students visit the website independently and read only their section (as assigned by the teacher). Sections with an * are the more challenging sections. Then students get in a group so that each member of the group read a different section.
