This is a PPT file that is a combination of 2 files I created. 2-d shapes set to the tune of common kids songs, complete with audio files, and 3-d shape chants.
These chants and songs are simple to learn but teach the required descriptive vocabulary of vertex,vertices, straight sides, curved sides, and face for each shape.

5 Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed is one of my favorite rhymes! I laminated many of the pieces and am using on a velcro board. I love modifying books and rhymes just to add a little change - I have added band aids to this rhyme. When monkey bumps his head, he could say OUCH and need a band aid!
