This is a graphic organizer that will help students write summaries about a nonfiction text. It has the pieces of a hamburger paragraph in the organizer, in picture form. This way, students will be able to use their prior knowledge of writing a hamburger paragraph to help them write a nonfiction summary. This will help your EL students access the information as well.
