Quiet Work Music At Your Fingertips - Fall Theme
I love to have calm, quiet music playing during writing and seat work time. The problem I always seem to run into is, where are my CDs when I want them? They never get put back in the right cases. This is a powerful lesson for students to see a modern connection to the past.Before this lesson, you should discuss with students how the North was complicit in slavery as much as the South was in the years prior to the Civil War. Songs of the Enlightenment! Which Enlightenment Philosopher would sing it?
Students listen to songs be modern artists from Youtube, and try to figure out which philosopher's message goes along with the song!
Very fun, good way to incorporate music into the classroom and to change things up!
