Middle Ages, MusicThis made-up play was inspired by the tomb of a 13th century knight in a church in England near where I used to live. It provides information on the Celtic ideas of poetic prayer, hospitality, and the Presence of God.It also focuses on the role of knights, and how some women oversaw their homes in the 13th century. SUMMARY: A mum and daughter are setting up for a Sunday service. The spiritually perceptive daughter feels that two people who have been dead for centuries are not r

THE WONDERFUL KINGDOM OF WIGG (A Narrative Musical Drama for Children)

The narrative drama is designed to be read aloud while the early elementary children act out the narrative - there are no speaking parts! The music was written for the older elementary students. This way, there is a part for everyone! This could be considered a "first musical" for students in that in introduces reading separate vocal lines and Voice 1 & Voice 2. A lot of the mus

Students are given 24 Middle Ages vocabulary words. Instead of the same old, boring "define the vocabulary words" assignment, students are given a choice of ways to define the vocabulary words. Choices are: Powerpoint, Epic Minstrel Song, Children's Book, Feudal Play, or Bard's Tale. Each choice requires a certain amount of the words being used in context in order to show mastery of the vocabulary. Included in the assignment is a word for word parody of Eminem's Oscar winning song "Lose Yourself
