Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears Puppets and Reader's Theater
This product includes a reader's theater script based on the folk tale Why Mosquitoes buzz in People's Ears by Verna Aarmdema.There are also 7 print out puppets based on the illustrations of Leo and Diane Dillon. The puppets are a mosquito, a iguana, a python, a rabbit, a crow, a monkey, and an owl. The puppets come in full color and black and white.
These puppets are wonderful for literacy centers, fluency and summarizing activities. They are a great addition to a unit on folk tales.

This is the fastest and easiest way I've found to clear up b/d confusion. Instead of having to choose between two options (as in the "bed" method), children ask themselves one simple question to determine if the letter is a 'b' or not a 'b'. If it is, done.
