DSO Kids: Instrument Research Project

Meet the Orchestra
This is the orchestra unit I did with my third graders. The instrument families were color coded and the families were broken into four groups. I took three weeks to cover everything in the unit (since I see my students 1 day a week) and then at the end, I let the students arrange their "own orchestra" and they became the conductors.
