Recently tenured high school English teacher who made the switch to Secondary Education after teaching 3rd grade - and haven't looked back since!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students are at the center of my teaching focus. I consider my student's age, interests and unique backgrounds when designing my lessons, so that I can engage the wide variety of learners that enter my classroom. I believe learning should be fun, but also challenging, so that students learn the greatness that lies within them, even if it feels beyond reach at first.
