Auto-évaluation ÉLÈVE immersion - FRANÇAIS
This document is a great way for students to immediately tell you how they feel they did on their quiz, test, project, etc. Print, cut, and stick it on their desk or even in their agendas! They highlight their name using the color that best identifies their perceived understanding of the assessment. Its a great indicator for you, as a teacher, to know IMMEDIATELY how students felt they did.

Have you ever played "J'ai//Qui a?" This is the same timed game loved by students, focusing on the verbs "aimer" and "d���©tester" A student says "J'aime le chien. Qui aime le chat?" Who ever has "J'aime le chat" would then read their card, etc. This game could be used as an oral assessment tool of pet vocabulary.

December/Christmas/Winter Journal Writing Prompt Booklet
This is a 7 page booklet that features two journal entries on each page. The first is a title page, so there are 12 writing prompts. Each page has several lines for a student response, as well as a box to draw a picture of the journal entries.
These half sheets are to be cut out and given to students one at a time. At the end of the month, just before break, I like to punch holes and bind the journals for students to keep as a momento.

A fantastic resource where children use their knowledge of numbers to 20 in French to crack the code. A spin off Guess Who activity where they have to work out clues to find out which character is the culprit! Combines knowledge of numbers, pencil case items and ages! The children I have done this with love it and allows children to be independent and active in their learning.

French Greetings Reading Resource (ordering a conversation)
This a great resource when teaching French greetings. Children can read the basic greeting phrases and order them appropriately either by colour coding or cutting and sticking. This could also be used if you are focussing on writing - they could write the correctly ordered conversation in each box.

French Menu (Part 1) Food Restaurant France Cuisine Culture
This French Menu (Part1) is a great tool for your students to learn about traditional French dishes. Print it, glue it, and laminate it. It will look like a real French menu!

I've created a name plate for students' desks (junior / intermediate) that has commonly used/needed tools along with it - en francais
It includes names of various shapes, a few adjectives, Dr & Mrs Vandertramp, fraction/decimal/percentage conversion, sentence starters/sequencing and the 100 grid.
The name tag ends up being approx. 5x10 inches - perfect for the top of their desks :)
