Adding/Subtracting Decimals Holiday Shopping Poster

This is a decimal project where students go "shopping" through local ads, creating a list of gifts they will buy for others. They will esitmate how much they will spend per person and then for everyone. They will then add the prices (adding decimals) and find the exact amounts. They have $1,000 to spend and if they don't use all of it, they have to find the change they would receive. In the end, they are creating a poster to present their findings. My kids really loved it!
