The students will solve the simple addition problems (addition to 10). They will use the color key to color in the space on the snowman after solving the problems. I only used basic colors in the color key that every child should have in his/her crayon box. That way, they won't get upset/frustrated if they don't have the color it requires. This can be used as a homework assignment, for indoor recess, or for students who finish early. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Using the picture book, Snowmen at Night, encourage your students to generate their own narratives. First, have a read-aloud, or get a Youtube version, andhave a brief discussion.
