Comprehensive Geometry Vocabulary Organizer
I created this Geometry vocabulary organizer to help prepare my students for the final exam. It has about 60 terms. I tried to skip obvious ones like acute angle and the types of triangles. Geometry Proof Helper & Study Guide 1st semester
I created this booklet-style geometry guide for my TAG/GT students -- 8th graders taking High School Geometry. It covers the first 7 chapters of the text book (our first semester), leaving room for notes on the primary theorems and definitions in each chapter. This is a colorful and detailed "fill-in-the-blank" brochure related to polygons. This is a word document that students can easily open and add information. Area of a Triangle Mini Book
This book walks students through decomposing a rectangle to find the formula for a triangle in the simplest of steps. It also includes lyrics to a song to help students remember the steps of finding the area of a triangle as well as a page devoted to right, acute, obtuse and practice pages. Foldable going over properties of arcs, tangents, angles, arcs and secants
Using a long piece of printer paper or a longer piece of construction paper is best for this foldable. I normally have to show them once how to fold it. It is helpful to have a ruler and possibly compasses for those students that like clean straight lines and nicely constructed circles. Volume with Whole Numbers Book
This is a great book to help introduce or review calculating volume. I use it as guided notes that my students glue into their math journals. Pages 1-2 copy back to back. Page 3 fold in half and staple in. The fourth page I cut in half and my students match the dimensions with the volume and glue just the top so they can see the matching volume.
