Description
This PowerPoint is one that I use for my 5th grade class instruction. Students take notes in their notebooks and draw as we go.
This PowerPoint covers:
- Classifying by angles (acute, obtuse, or right)
- Classifying by side length (equilateral, isosceles, or scalene)
- Measuring angles
- The 3 angles add to 180 degrees
- Finding missing angles
Students will need a protractor and ruler to "discover" that triangles have angles that add to 180 degrees. There are notes in the note section, but you may want to add or delete what you want. There's a lot of info to cover with triangles!
This is what I use for my class and figured someone else my like to use it! :)
