Students will be assigned a human innovation that they will research and prepare a short persuasive essay that defends their assigned topic as the greatest Human Innovation of all time. Groups of students will then use those essays to determine which human innovation, based on the persuasive writing of their classmates, deserves the title of Greatest Human Innovation.There is explicit guidelines for each step with extra value placed on the importance of honest and meaningful peer review.
