TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught public and private middle school science for over a decade. I taught 8th grade for 5 years and 5th through 12th for another 7 years. I've covered just about every topic there is in science, plus computer science, business, visual art, and yearbook.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a balance of direct instruction and student-led activities. I find that a balance between the creative and the logical -- the right and left brain -- results in the highest levels of student achievement and engagement.
