"Change For A Dollar" is a four minute, karaoke style music video, that students can sing along with to help learn about decimal place value. It focuses on the tenths and hundredths places, and how they represent dimes and pennies. This would make a good introduction to decimal place value, or another way to reinforce and review the concept.

Fractions Fractions Show Me Some Action! is the real title of this rap and lesson plans. An mp3 of the rap is also available. There are 2 accompanying lesson plans, one for the classroom teacher and one for the music teacher. Students I have taught this rap to have told me that they now understand fractions and decimals.
