Here is a list of vocabulary terms for Early European Explorers. This includes the page to make vocabulary flaps in the notebook. This also includes the vocabulary terms. I usually have my students do this as way to preface the unit. On the left page they draw an illustrated dictionary for me, which is just the word and hand drawn and colored picture to correspond with it. The kids really like it and it also reinforces the term/word and can provide an excellent study guide for later assessments.
