Sketchbook Grading Policy
I use this to grade student sketchbooks. Students have a weekly sketchbook assignment. This list helps keep them on track. Students glue this handout to the front page of their sketchbooks and refer to it when needed. It gives great structure to the sketchbook process and ensures that students are completing quality work.

Design a Product: A Design Template
This is a short design template that you can use and adapt for almost any design product. Students work through the design process: empathy, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Interactive Sketchbook Cover or Title Page
This is the first page of more to come! This page allows students to draw a self-portrait of themselves and glue it into their sketchbooks. I use a marble composition notebook. Students decorate the cover that has been covered with a 8 x 10 packing label. This sheet is then completed and glued on the first page.

At the beginning of the semester I made a list of drawing topics that my students were supposed to draw in their sketchbooks. This is supposed to be fun and give the students the chance to make their own art with some direction on the topic. Each week the students had a new topic and would have to fill a page in their sketchbook.
