Students will have to extrapolate the future position of four given constellations after a certain period of time. The activity has the explanation of how to calculate apparent motion. Fusion and Fission Anticipation Guide
What is the difference between fusion and fission? Student will have to determine which statement they agree or disagree with. Students will circle their choice before and after reading an online article from Duke Energy. I instruct my students use marker to highlight or ink pens. Pale Blue Dot: Views of Home
These photos show Earth from farther and farther away, from the very first Blue Marble photo to Voyager's family portrait. The photos are large and the text is bold so that the pages can be projected onto the big screen in front of the class. Stars and Galaxies One Pager Assignment
This one pager assignment can be used as a review or an assessment for the stars and galaxies. Students can be given this assignment sheet and a blank piece of print paper. The students fold the printer paper into fourths and on each quadrant they are to answer one of the questions.
