This activity consists of text and illustrations about the benefits of different types of music and singing, many of which are still being researched. The text is followed by a comprehensive set of questions. This is a great project for a substitute, as anyone can teach it without musical knowledge. I suggest having the students work in pairs to read it out loud to each other for better comprehension, or reading it together as a class, then working on the questions as individuals.
