I taught 4th grade for four years at a charter school in Utah. Once I began having children, I stayed home and began homeschooling them. I am currently working out how to balance teaching my own children of different ages and giving them the best education possible. But being a teacher to my own children is the best job I could imagine.
I am firm believer that children learn best when exposed to multiple learning styles: kinesthetic, auditory, visual, interpersonal, logical, etc. I try to include elements from multiple learning styles in each lesson plan.
