We ask that you listen, read, learn and stand to make a change. These resource cards have been designed for teachers to learn and in turn educate the future generations of Australia. Some tasks might be more suitable for younger grades (Kindergarten - Year 2), while other activities may be more appropriate for older students (Year 3 - Year 6)

Australian Indigenous/Aboriginal Symbols
Included is a worksheet where students can guess what each indigenous symbols means and represents. Following is pdf powerpoint that identifies each symbol and students can write the correct answer on the sheet. Students also drew the symbol in coloured sand. I used this as a rotation for NAIDOC Week but it can be made into an explicit lesson.
