These are some of my favorite tongue twisters that I do with my kids. I do not claim that I created any of these, but they are very easy to find on the internet. I print out a classroom set and then I get them laminated by my school so they last forever. You can even test the kids on them. I select a different student leader every week to lead the class in warm ups.

This play is adapted from the Aesop's fable, "The North Wind and the Sun." It is written at an early third grade reading level and would be appropriate for third grade readers or for fourth grade remedial readers. The poem is about a shark preying on a human in stealth. It’s perfect when teaching children about rhyme and meter, fluency, parts of speech, and imagery. It is also an interesting way to teach about animal themes because the poem rhymes in a silly and fun way. My students absolutely lo
