The Shortcut Song (Donald Crews)
This is a song based on Donald Crews' Shortcut. It follows the sequence of the story line and builds suspense similar to the story. This song is called "New Shoes" and my students absolutely love it! We have so much fun singing and dancing along to this little toon and celebrating our shoes : ) I find that it goes nicely with Pete the Cat. I like to use it for Shared Reading as well.
