They discuss the negative impact humans have, how they are caused, and how this negative impact affects the environment and humans. World Changer Locker Name Tags or God's Kingdom Builder Name Tags
These locker name tags are cute and customizable. Customize the font, I recommend using WordArt to create curved lettering. They could be used for a theme that is centered around "world changers" "God's kingdom builders" or any earth/world theme. Print, and use packing tape to add to lockers or desks.

I taught a class called Environmental Studies where students learned about their environment and how their impact affects the air they breath, the water they drink and the food they eat. The lessons are based around the 17 Global Goals that were created by the UN. This lesson is for them to take one of the Global Goals and 'teach' to the school about it through a bulletin board that are on the hallway walls. This was perfect for Earth Day activities later on that week.

This is a super quick activity that can be done in just 30 or 40 minutes. I chose to use the book "The Curious Garden" by Peter Brown to go along with this activity, but it can really go along with any book about the Earth. My students love to discuss, so this was an activity they really enjoyed.
Side Note: I also chose to have my students write their names in the hearts as I thought it added a cute touch.

I Love Earth poetry frame in English and Spanish
I love the Earth and I help the Earth are poetry frames in English and Spanish. I use it to focus on Earth Day, environment education plus, grammar and vocabulary development. With young children I have them brainstorm whole class, and choose the words they want. With older students, I have them use a thesaurus to come up with new vocabulary words. The Stanzas could look like this:

After brainstorming an Earth Day chart with my students, I came up with this template to go along with it. We had discussed ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to help keep the earth clean. At the top of each section they can write one way and on the bottom is room to draw a small picture. We cut them out and displayed them on a bulletin board.
