Latin American Revolutions Haiti Harry Styles Song Analysis Activity
This activity helps when reviewing the events of the Haitian Revolution. Students listen to Harry Styles "Sign of the Times." They review the lyrics and connect them (teacher guided questions are included) to the Haitian Revolution. 8 questions are tied to the lyrics along with a reflection for discussion. Teacher key is included. This is a PDF, but if teachers prefer to use a google doc, a link to make a copy for students is included as well.

This Song of the Day (SOTD) is designed to be used in a Civil War/Reconstruction lesson. It asks students to explore the cultural context in which the song is song, and gives students the chance to discover the background of the song.
