Erin is a former elementary and middle school teacher and a current teacher educator, researcher, and curriculum writer. Her research focuses on critical approaches to elementary social studies, with a focus on US history and social movements. She loves writing upper elementary and middle school social studies curriculum, connecting with teachers, and presenting at conferences across the country.
