Frankenstein Closing Argument Speech
Students take on the role of either a prosecutor or defence attorney in a criminal trail based on the events from Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. Students must determine what crimes were committed and whether these crimes are punishable.
A great activity to evaluate persuasive writing techniques. Students enjoy the ability to act out and argue the final closing argument of a criminal trail. Very successful with senior level classes as a final project to a unit on Frankenstein.
