Current Event Assignment and Rubric
An effective way to get students involved with what is going on in the world. The Current Event form that students will fill out includes not only a summary, but also vocabulary. The Current Event rubric is easy for teachers to score with and students to understand. I do this every Friday with my students. They expect to share them with the class.
