Properties of Matter Cracker Lab

Students will work individually or in teams using various brands of crackers to explore properties of matter. Students are given a bowl with 4 or 5 cracker choices. I usually try to find ones with different shapes, colors, and textures. Students are to refrain from eating the crackers until the completion of the scientific study. This upload contains the data form where students record their findings. This is a great introduction to teaching properties of matter!
