This recently updated classroom tested project will have your students learning a great deal of information about the peoples who inhabited the Americas before European exploration. I use this flip book in conjunction with my text. The students research each region and draw a picture of the shelter types for each region. At the end, there are extension questions to get the kids thinking.

This Native American Research Project is a great way to differentiate students learning based off of readiness levels, and interest. This Research Project gives students the ability to independently do their own research, while still being apart of a collaborative group.
