First Nation (Indigenous) Groups of Canada

Aboriginal or First Nations Groups of Canada is a snap shot of the six main cultural regions of Canada. Each Indigenous group has a corresponding fact sheet. The students cut out each fact and glue them under the appropriate heading. A map provides the geographical awareness of the locations of cultural groups in Canada. An adapted version is included (perfect for EAL, ELL, or Learning Assistance students), as well as the answers to each fact sheet. This resource meets the standards for the Indigenous peoples curriculum. Students can use the fact sheets to further their research on a particular Aboriginal or First Nations culture.
