I use this at the beginning of the year for a fun twist to review genres. Most kids can name genres off the top of their heads and identify books as certain genres (usually after reading them). This is to go deeper in understanding of genres and examples of them, as well as to prepare for our yearly goal of reading outside of our genres we usually choose.
