This is a game to play in general music class. The students absolutely love playing this. We play with koosh balls or beanbags. Whatever it hits on the smartboard it shows an instrument or asks a question about an instrument and they must answer. This is a fun game/fun/free day activity.

This is a game I created. This version is for K-3 grade. The class is split into 2 teams and each team has a set of boomwhackers. On a card, write the colors of the boomwhackers. The student who holds up the correct color according to the card you show gets the chance to complete the rhythms in this smart notebook document. If they do it correctly their team receives a point! If not, the other team gets a chance to steal by completing the rhythm correctly.

Pre-make any kind of cards for any music concept and use this as a game board!! Split the class into 2 teams and have 1 student at a time answer a question.
