Pass the Pumpkin Song/Game with Orff Arrangement for Smart Boards
A student favorite for Halloween and the month of October! Using the traditional folk song and game, I created an Orff arrangement for when students get "out" of the game. The arrangement is geared toward upper elementary students but has notes about how to simplify for younger grades. Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Solfege Pattern Game: Level 3
In this SMART notebook file, the teacher will click on the link on each page, and a recorded solfege pattern played on the piano (in the key of D+) will sound. Students simply show you which pattern they hear by giving you a thumbs up or down! A nice, easy informal assessment to see quickly who "has it"!
