This is a great way to review student understanding of the graphs of linear inequalities. There are 7 different BINGO cards with 24 pictures of graphs of 2-variable inequalities. The teacher reads the equation of a linear inequality and the stduents have to find the matching graph on their BINGO card. Students go for 5 in a row in any direction and I usually let them go for 5 in a row more than one time to keep the play going. The students absolutely LOVE this!

Chill Math
In this review activity, students will bounce all over your classroom to different posted problems reviewing various ways to factor polynomials, such as taking out the greatest common factor, grouping, difference of squares, and unFOIL (trinomial into two binomials). Working in groups, students solve a problem and then choose the correct answer, which send them to a new problem. If students complete the problems correctly, they will be taken on a unique pathway through each of the 16 problems.

There are a total 13 different relays, including solving by substitution, elimination, graphing, systems of inequalities, and linear programming. This is a great activity to use to practice how to do these problems that students find complicated. Students sit in rows or groups and 1 student does one step, then passes the paper to the next person. They may not talk or help each other until they show their answer to you. If their answer is incorrect, then they may work together to fix it. Als

This is a great Bingo game that can be used for reviewing simplifying complex numbers and solving quadratic equations (that are complex). Students love to play the game and it gives them an excellent opportunity to review the topic. I usually make the students create their board using a marker or pen and we cross off answers once they have been completed. I will use the same board for the entire game having the possible winning combinations: traditional bingo, 4 corners, box of 4, double bin

This activity gets students to analyze and explain the pro's and con's of solving systems of linear equations by graphing, substitution, and elimination. They try to convince others to use their method while analyzing which method would be best in different situations. Lots of fun! Supports the Common Core Standards for Mathematical Practice. Includes the posters to pass between groups, directions, problems, and answer key.

18 polynomials (most in factored form, only 3 in standard form) are given as well as the corresponding 18 graphs. I print these on card stock and make enough copies for each table of four to match them. Or you could pass the 36 cards out and have students find their match in the class. These allow students to practice end behavior rules and identifying the solutions. Preview is the full document.

Students in rows of 4 work on one problem then pass it to the person behind them to work on the second problem, etc. After the 4th person is finished, they bring you the paper to check it. If everything is correct, they get the next game. If something is incorrect, they work together to fix the mistake. Three games are included with answers.

They contains questions about different operations of polynomials - including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing polynomials. There are some solving and factoring polynomials questions as well as some about end behavior of graphs of polynomials. There are 6 problems to a page. You need to cut them out and hang around the room. You’ll notice that all three have the same solution number path, but

Quadratic equations can be solved by graphing, by factoring, by completing the square, and by the quadratic formula. Once your students have learned these skills separately, it is time for them to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each method and when it is best to use each. This game is great for review before a test or in preparation for an end of course assessment in Algebra 1. Meets Common Core expectations for Mathematical Practices.

• Create oceans on your whiteboard/chalkboard/desks with blue paper or blue markers and label. • Divide class into teams of 3-4 students. • Give each team a problem card “ship”. • Every member of the group works the problem and raises their hand when they are done. You go over and check their work and answers. If EVERYONE has done the problem correctly, they get a "baby ship" which they put their group number on and hang in any one of the oceans. • As they finish a "ship", they go get another on
