"Life Doesn't Frighten Me" by Maya Angelou Four Column Notes and Close Read
These four column notes and close read questions emphasize mood, tone, and theme throughout the poem. The assignment first asks students to find the examples of different literary devices and to discuss what the author's purpose is in using those devices.
