African American Inventors with Smart Board
This is a Smart Board lesson of 18 pages. It includes 8 African American inventors including Lonnie Johnson, Garrett Morgan, Madame C. J. Walker, Otis Boykin, Elijah McCoy, Lewis Latemar, Patricia Bath, and George W. Carver. The first 8 pages are on each inventor and his/her picture asking "Do you know who this inventor is?" This science SmartBoard Lesson is designed to use as a teaching tool to help guide your instruction as you teach the steps of the Scientific Method. There are 12 slides in this lesson and include an essential question, summarizing activity, link to a BrainPop�© video and a sorting activity. You may have to change some of the fonts because the ones I have installed on my computer may not be on yours. Scientific Method
This notebook presentation was created for a 3rd grade lesson on the scientific method. The lesson goes over each step of the scientific method. After the mini-lesosn, students complete an experiment involving M&Ms and follow each step of the scientific method. This lesson goes with the M&M Formal Lesson Plan in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

The Five Senses Smell
This Smartboard file describes the anatomy of our nose, how we smell, different things we can smell, and can also be used in conjunction with a book about the sense of smell. At the end of the lesson a smell game can be played where students smell different cotton balls that have been "treated" with different smells ex.(roses, honey, orange, etc).

Clouds activity for SmartBoard
This is a cloud activity that I created for the SmartBoard. This activity will help students learn to recognize the three basic types of clouds: cumulus, stratus, cirrus. This is an interactive activity that will get students involved in the lesson.
