My class does this every morning, and it has helped them recognize the different sounds of letter teams when reading and sounding out words. Stated vs. Implied Theme Activity
Hello,
My students are really struggling with stated vs. implied theme this year... So I created this to use during my lessons. There is an introduction and five paragraphs where the students have to read and decide whether the theme is stated or implied. They then have to justify their responses. I have my students use their white boards to record their responses.
