Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie and this year, 2023, I will be teaching 4th grade once again! This will be my 8th year teaching for the Department of Education in Queens. I started out as a substitute teacher and taught the 1st grade as a maternity leave replacement for my 1st year. Then, I went on to teach 4th grade for 2 years from 2017-2019. Afterwards, I taught 2nd grade for one year. I have also taught 5th grade for two years from 2020 - 2022. Last year, I went back to teaching 4th grade :) There has been so much I have learned and so much I still want to learn. I am big on keeping up with the times as we all know, learning and education changes a lot. In 2020, many of us had to teach virtually from home and get used to other teaching approaches via online. This is why I am glad that many of my store products already reflect this approach as many of my lessons are on a power point and can be easily uploaded to your drive! I have experience in ICT classrooms and I also work with English Language Learners. It helps that I am bilingual! I really love teaching upper elementary grade levels so I am really excited for this year. You never know where this field will take you! I believe in inspiring and empowering children to use their voices and to be life long learners :) I hope you visit my page as often as possible and invite others to do the same.
