Using weekly advertisements, from three different grocery stores, students will compare and contrast the cost of grocery shopping. When my students do not perform as well as I/ they would like on a test, I allow (or require) them to make corrections. Sometimes this is used for students to earn extra credit points on the test itself. Other times I have required this to be complete before allowing a retake.
