Wax Museum History Monologue Rubric
Students study a famous person in history to create a wax museum character. They dress up and invite their family to a performance at school. Students write a 1 page monologue describing their plight in history. This is a rubric to assess their reading fluency, expression, historical accuracy of facts, and overall quality of presentation. This rubric can be used as an assessment or a guide for students to prepare their piece.

Concert Reflection
This is a brief, half page reflection that is great to use after performances. I use this with my middle and high school students after each concert so they know what to expect and think about before reflecting on it. Year 9 Greek Theatre Arts Process Journal Task
It took me the longest time to figure out how to do meaningful Arts Process Journal tasks when I started teaching IBMYP Drama. Students came to enjoy these tasks, one for each unit and enjoy creating them to share with the class. I would give out the task sheet at the start of the unit and if there was an 'downtime' in class e.g another group rehearsing for feedback etc the student would pull out their laptops and start creating with cool images and so forth.
