This is a lab report template that can be used for any scientific investigation. It requires students to address all of the elements of the scientic method including: stating the problem, hypothesis (including stating the independent and dependent variables), procedures to carry out an experiment, analyzing and recording data, and a conclusion section. 89 Animals of the Rain Forest "What Am I?" Educational Card Game *Montessori*
This is a file consisting of 89 Animals of the Amazon Rainforest Nomenclature Cards.
These are different in that they have a fourth card for each animal. The fourth card is a "What Am I?" card in order to impart a little knowledge on each animal. There are symbols on the bottom of each master card and the "What am I?" card so you an easily check if you were correct.

Parts of a Seed
In this edit-able printout, students will label the parts and purposes of a seed. Word banks can be removed if desired. This printout is designed to accompany a seed dissection. Soak lima beans (from the grocery store works fine) for a few hours to soften the seed. The students can then loosen the seed coat with a pinch of their fingers, separate the two halves of the seed and gently remove the embryo from the seed.

Montessori pre-primary presentation check list
This is a check list for all the presentations in the Montessori classroom. It threw it together for my own school, so there might be some presentations you would like to change, please do so.
It is meant as a record keeping tool and should not be shared with parents unless your report is also in check list format. For effective record keeping, the presentation check list should be used together with anecdotal record keeping.

Building Model Lungs and the Respiratory System
In this lesson, students will learn how the lungs function, particularly, how the expansion and contraction of the diaphragm contribute to the inflation and deflation of the lungs. The preliminary lesson will identify the components of the lungs and their involvement in respiration.
