Bridge Engineering BASICS

I use a great website called ASPIRE Simple and Complex Machines that allows students to manipulate an inclined plane and collect the data from each change. Students will work in teams to design, create, and test a structure made out of aluminum foil. The teams will compete against each other to create a "boat" that holds the most amount of coins while floating on water. Early Cold War: The Space Race
A very brief DBQ featuring a timeline covering the Space Race from 1959-1997. 3 questions. Engineer Design Process Interactive Notebook Activity
This product was created with my classes in mind. This is the first time I am trying INBs and would love some feedback! Students will cut out the "Steps" boxes as well as the "Description" boxes. They will glue them together (forming a type of flap) and glue the back of the flap down into their notebooks. I'm going to have a short review on the Engineer Design Process (something they covered last year) and use this to reinforce the lesson.
