Coping Strategies
This list of coping strategies is a quick list students can use when experiencing negative feelings.I have this list posted in our wellness room. Students are asked to think about the coping strategies during their time in our wellness room. Upon leaving, we talk about the coping strategies they will try to use next time. We use an exit ticket for our wellness room that has students write down their preferred coping strategy. The exit ticket is bundled with this list in my store.

Wellness Room Exit Ticket
Use this “exit ticket” for when students use your wellness room. Our wellness room has a coping strategies poster on the wall. After counseling a student, some spend time in our wellness room. We write a ”time in” on the ticket. We ask students to reflect on the posted coping strategies and to write them down on this ticket on their way out.
