Words are like Toothpaste
Words are like toothpaste is a social skills activity to teach students or children about how words can be hurtful.Activity: I first give students a small tube of toothpaste and ask them to squeeze all the toothpaste out. After they have successfully done this I ask them to put it back in. We debrief using the activity above.

Behavior Reflection
This behaviour reflection tool allows you to provide your students with a time out, and/or time to reflect on their actions in the aftermath of an incident. What caused them to behave in this way? What impact did it have on others? What strategies could they use in the future?

Brain Storm - Parts of the Brain
Use this 'BRAINstorm' to help students learn about each component of the brain. Included are: motor cortex, occipital lobe, auditory cortex, cerebrum, cerebellum, temporal lobe, hippocampus, and amygdala. Students will think of an example of something in their life when they have used each part. They will write a sentence and draw a sketch. This is a great jumping off point to writing informational text or personal narratives.

Small Group Counseling Template
This is the color coded small group counseling template I use for my small groups. You can edit the times, group names, and colors. It's a great and easy tool to use when you have 5-6 students in a small group. This was the only way I could fit all of my small groups on one page for a schedule. I've also included another tab at the bottom for permission slips. This is how I keep up with who can particpate in small groups. It's great and EASY documentation! Enjoy!
