This is a table I designed for my children to learn their skip counting and multiplication facts. On occasion, I have timed them for three minutes to complete the entire table with accuracy. It is amazing how quickly they have learned their facts, compared to using flashcards.

Estimating Products Using Rounding Common Core Worksheet
On this worksheet students round two and three digit numbers and then multiply them by one digit numbers in order to estimate the product. I had them round to the left most digit. After, we discussed if our estimate is higher or lower than what the product of the original problem would be. Students really enjoy this because they feel smart multiplying big numbers in their head : )

Test Taking Strategies / Follow Directions Prank/Fake Quiz
This quiz is a fun and funny way to get students to realize they need to pay attention to directions.
There is a list of numerous steps to complete, which can actually be fun for students. HOWEVER, the first step says to "read all directions before continuing" and the last step says "only do..." so most students mess this up and do all the steps as they go along. Then you can give them the lesson at the end :)

Multiplication & Division Fact Fluency System: Daily Drills & Weekly Quizzes
This system is created for everyday multiplication and division fact fluency practice. “Official Quizzes” are used once per week to determine mastery. Also included are “drills” to use for daily practice. This is a fake test that simply asks students to read ALL questions before answering anything. The final question asks them to turn in the paper for 10 extra credit points if there is no writing or erase marks on the paper. Division Fact Timed Test (MCC3. OA. 7)
Multiplication and Division are the most prominent skills in 3rd Grade math. These timed test are a great way for students to learn their facts. I start by doing the multiplication timed test ( which are easy to find online.) When students have completed through their 12's, they begin on their division facts. These test are not as easy to find online. That is why I created these.

Multiplication Facts Pretest/Posttest - 2 Tests
I have created two multiple choice multiplication word problems tests. Each test has ten questions. The rigor is much higher to incorporate the new changes in the National Standards. It matches the VA 3rd grade SOL 3.5 multiplication facts. Ideally each test could be printed front to back to have 1 sheet per test. Students will need to know the vocabulary word product. They will also use word problem skills to determine that multiplication is needed.

This set includes printable lists of the 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12 multiplication tables. I use these to track my students' multiplication fact fluency progress by highlighting the facts they still need to practice.
