You'll see that you can type the story in the blank and at first there will be significant spacing, but that is part of the settings. Kindergarten theme activity for unit on Presidents. I began by reading Martha Brenner's 'Abe Lincoln's Hat' and then asked the students what important things they would want to keep in a tall hat like Lincoln's. The students wrote a sentence about what they would keep and drew an illustration on the inside of the image of the hat.
