This product is a novel study for the book Capture the Flag by Kate Messner. Social Studies is easily integrated into this unit due to the content of the novel. The story is a mystery about the flag that inspired the song "The Star-Spangled Banner" being stolen. Three kids go on an adventurous search for the stolen flag. Valentines Day Guided Reading Passage- Cupid
